Giants over Pirates- A pair of middle of the road combatants clash in San Francisco as the Giants host Pittsburgh. This is Andrew McCutchen's second series facing his former teammates as the Pirates took 2-of-3 in May. Pittsburgh's Ivan Nova (6-6, 4.49 ERA) took the loss in that series in May and has been struggling of late throwing to a 5.81 ERA and 1.71 WHIP in his last six starts. Giants starter Andrew Suarez (4-7, 4.60) went 12 straight starts without allowing more then four runs. The Pirates are just 10-19 against the NL West. Take SAN FRANCISCO!
