Philadelphia at Detroit 7:00 ET
Pistons (+) over 76ers- With the acquisition of Jimmy Butler teams are beginning to put a little more focus on Philadelphia when they get them in their sites. But, the 76ers are too inexperienced to handle that kind of everyday pressure. Teams that can have targets on their backs need to be experienced with strong leadership that have winning team are qualities. It's too early for Philly to handle that load especially on the road where they still need to mature as a team. They are great at home 13-1, but 4-8 SU and 3-9 ATS on the road including 1-6 ATS in their last seven trips to Detroit. The Piston are 9-4 SY at home and have lost their last two. Embiid and Butler matched against Griffin and Drummond has the making of a great encounter if they give to the game what they should (NBA players take too many games off and some of them they are playing in). I think the natural response is to jump on the Sixers off their last at Toronto, but this is the first of back-to-back meetings (Monday at Philly) and I expect the home team to prevail here.
