Oddly enough both hurlers are a combined 5-10 as they have both performed below par. Each of these starters is looking forward to meeting facing their opponent as Max is 10-5 with a 2.59 ERA against the Mets while deGrom is 8-4 with a 2.50 ERA career wise and is 5-1 with a 1.50 ERA in his last seven starts against the Nats.
