Astros over Cubs- It took a little over a month but the Astros are getting healthy with the return to the lineup by Carlos Correa although they just sent George Springer to the IL. Houston is playing their last ball of the year winning 15 of their last 19 and are now a MLB best 21-7 at home. Chicago has lost four of their last five and will start veteran Jon Lester (3-3, 2.68 ERA) who started the season fast by allowing just five runs in his first seven starts but has been racked for 17 hits (three homers) and 12 runs his last two starts against Washington and Philadelphia. The Astros are 13-5 against left-handers and are 56-25 in inter-league play. Take HOUSTON!
