Astros over Rangers- It is said that after the All-star break the leagues start to separate the 'contenders from the pretenders' and it couldn't be more evident than what we are seeing out of their two Lone Star state rivals. Houston has moved out in front of their division and has won their last four games while the Rangers have lost their last six. Even Texas' ace Lance Lynn (12-5, 3.87 ERA) who is tied for the lead in AL victories has been affected having his personal six-game win streak ended surrendering five runs and eights hits his last time out. Houston will start rookie Rogelio Armenteros who gets his first MLB start and is facing a team that has struck-out 10 times or more in 12 of their last 15 games. Add that the Astros are 48-20 in their last 68 home games. Take HOUSTON!
