Angels over Mariners- What a way to close a 3-0 SWEEP with the Angels scoring four runs with two outs in the ninth after the Mariners mis-played a simple infield pop-up. We needed that kind of break after blowing a 7-0 lead with the Reds against the Cardinals on Friday. That kind of play can demoralize and already struggling team. Seattle has lost six of seven since the break and 14 of their last 17 games overall. The Mariners will start Yusei Kikuchi (4-6, 5.01 ERA) who is 1- with a 10.91 ERA against the Angels this season and is 1-5 with a 7.29 ERA in his last nine starts getting to five innings only twice.
