Tigers over Rangers- Neither of these two clubs are setting the world on firer with their play as Detroit is 10-41 in their last 51 overall and Texas is 5-12 in their last 17 overall. Taking a look at the starting pitching for the Tigers tonight Mathew Boyd (6-8, 3.94 ERA) gets the nod and he is winless in his last four starts but has been more effective than his record indicates. He has received just 3.4 runs of support per start but has surrendered only 120 hits in 134 innings but has struggled (1-6 lifetime) against the Rangers. Adrian Sampson (6-8, 5.32) has taken a beating his last three times out giving up 16 earned runs in 12.2 innings and is 3-7 with a 6.32 ERA as a starter. Take DETROIT!
