Tonight the Diamondbacks will start Merrill Kelly (7-11, 4.52 ERA) and the 30-year old rookie if 0-5 in his last eight starts and has surrendered seven runs in each of his last two starts. The Phillies will start Vince Velasquez (3-6, 4.40) whose strong accurate arm cut down a base runner at the plate when forced into playing left field last week and this time he'll throw to the plate and past batters.
