Pirates over Reds- The last time these two combatants met there was a near riot in Cincinnati as a bench clearing brawl suspended both managers and three players. At the time Pittsburgh hurlers were being accused of throwing at batters heads and Reds pitcher Amir Garrett rushed the Pirates dugout. In this series opener Cincinnati will start Anthony DeSclafani (8-7, 4.40 ERA) and he has struggled against the Bucs this season posting a ERA of 8.10.
