Brewers over Cardinals- St. Louis was 44-44 at the All-Star break but have a made a run of late winning 13 of their last 16 games and are 2.5 games ahead of the Cubs in the NL Central. The Cards Adam Wainwright (9-9, 4.51 ERA) gets his second shot at the Brewers in five days as he was racked for five runs and eight hits and four walks against them last Wednesday. Milwaukee will start Gio Gonzalez (2-1, 3.64) who is winless in his last eight starts dating back to May 15. Last Tuesday he worked innings surrendering just one run on three hits. Take MILWAUKEE!
