Cardinals over Braves-It happened yesterday where a team that hasn't won a playoff game in years went down as we saw with the Athletics who lost for the ninth straight time in the postseason. Atlanta who won 96 games this year has not won a playoff series since 2001. In this Game-1 of this NLDS neither team is starting their aces as the Cardinals will send Miles Mikolas (9-14, 4.16 ERA) to the hill who won only half as many games this season as to last year while Atlanta will start Dallas Keuchel (8-8, 3.75) who has allowed two runs or less in six of nine postseason starts. But, Keuchel has been roughed up in his last three starts gong 0-3 with an ERA of 6.19. Add that the Braves are 8-21 in their last 29 playoff games and St. Louis is 9-3 in their last 12 meetings in Atlanta. Take ST. LOUIS!
