Rangers over A's- I know Oakland is one of the most under-rated teams in MLB and I know Texas is just 10-17 and has lost eight in-a-row but this line seems a bit too strong. Granted the A's have the most wins in the AL (20) and already swept the Rangers in a 3-game set in Oakland the first week of August and they have Jesus Luzardo (2-0, 3.67) who has 27 K's in 27 innings and has allowed 26 hits on the mound. All well and good but I have some stuff going too. Texas starter Lance Lynn (3-0, 1.37 ERA) is having a comeback season like none other. I had just about given him up for dead and now it's the batters he's facing that are dead weight. Well, this season he has tossed 39.1 innings with 42 K's and listen to this he has surrendered just 20 hits with a WHIP of 0.81. Yet, he is an underdog at home because the Rangers must really stink. They are batting .214 as a team and have just 22 home runs at the half-way point of this season. That's WHY! Take TEXAS!
