Golden Gophers (+) over Boilermakers- No doubt Minnesota has been a major disappointment from their opening week loss to Michigan (Yeah, that Michigan!) and they were annihilated 35-7 by Iowa last week. Purdue (2-1) started with an upset win over Iowa and then beat Illinois before losing 27-20 to Northwestern last Saturday. Boilermakers had +2 yards rushing last week and have just 191 yards rushing total in three games this season. Being one-dimensional is rarely a successful formula on the field. Look for the Gophers to emerge from the hole that they have created and use their ground game to dig out a home victory. Take MINNESOTA!
