Mets over Phillies- The Mets finally got their offense going after going 25 straight innings without scoring a run and defeated the Phillies 5-4 Saturday on a Mike Conforto ninth inning homer. New York's David Peterson (1-3, 5.59 ERA) will be making his fifth start of the season and his third against the Phillies. In his first start against them he allowed six runs and followed that a week later with a six inning gem surrendering only three hits, no walks while striking out 10. Philadelphia starter Zach Efflin (1-1, 3.58) is making his sixth start this season his first against the Mets this season and is 3-4 with a 5.21 ERA lifetime against them.
