Cubs over Giants- This could end up a great pitching matchup if they let the starters last as long as they can as Chicago will send veteran Kyle Hendricks (6-4, 4.62 ERA) to the mound to face the Giants Johnny Cueto (4-1, 3.45). After winning 9-of-10 Chicago has dropped three straight to San Francisco as their pitching has faltered. It seems a bit odd that the Cubs be favored on the road in SF after losing three straight as the Giants are 18-8 at home. Hendricks is 4-0 with a 2.60 ERA in his last four starts while Cueto is 9-9 lifetime with a 3.41 ERA against the baby bears. Seems odd but take CHICAGO!
