Red Sox over Rays- The Red Sox who have been leading the way in the AL East for most of the year have fallen four-games behind Tampa Bay after dropping 8-of-10 on their most recent road trip that began with tree losses at Tampa Bay. The Rays are 8-2 in their last 10 games and started their nine-game road trip by sweeping the Orioles in Baltimore. Tampa Bay is start rookie right-hander Luis Patino (2-3, 4.42 ERA) who will face Boston for the first time and he will be opposed by left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez (8-6, 5.33) who is 1-3, with a 5.33 ERA in 10 starts against Tampa Bay. The Rays are the hot team right now, but, this is a huge series for the Sawx. Take BOSTON!
