Blazers (+) over Cougars- It was just a few short years ago (7 years-2015-17 )that UAB dismantled their football program but reinstated it after public outcry. Since their return to actin they have qualified for four bowl games in five seasons. BYU won five games against PAC-12 competition and also had a victory against Virginia but as an Independent they have received little respect.
