Gaels (-) over Rams- At 27-7 on the season VCU has been seeded at No. 12 and will face No. 5 926-7) St. Mary’s in Albany, New York. With virtually the same records the selection committee must believe that the Gaels had a tougher schedule and a harder road. The Rams won nine straight games including the A-10 Conference Championship defeating Dayton. The Gaels have won five of their last seven but were blown out in the WWC Championship game by Gonzaga 77-51. I’m looking for a huge bounce back here and a bit of a letdown there. Take ST. MARY’S!
