Toronto is currently occupy a wild card spot and trail the Orange-Birds by 5.5 for the top spot and are 2.5-games ahead of Boston. Chris Bassitt (10-5, 3.81) get the nod for the Blue Jays and he is 4-1 in his last five decisions with the loss coming at Baltimore where he was shelled for eight runs and 11 hits in three innings.
