Yankees over Rays- It is not that I think that the Yankees can make a run for the playoffs but more like ‘we’ have lost all confidence in the Rays. Surely, the Yankees are a much better team with Aaron Judge in the line-up ( sort of validates his MVP over Ohtani who has yet to even make the playoffs) and he has been as productive as ever since his return from the IL. The slip-sliding away Rays will send Zach Eflin (11-6, 3.64 ERA) to the mound and he has already tied his career high in victories and is 2-0 over New York with a win coming in May when he allowed four runs in six innings. Carlos Rodon (1-3, 5.75) makes just his fifth start an is coming off a win over the Mets allowing only one run in 5.2 innings with four hits. Judge actually is the difference when it comes to this Yanks lineup. Take NEW YORK YANKEES!
