Giants over Seahawks- The Giants Blake Snell (2-3, 3,67 ERA) has has an absolutely crazy season. He started the year with arm troubles and was just horrid. In his first six starts he last just 21 innings (in SIX starts) and he surrendered 25 runs. Well, talk about a turn-around, in his last eight starts other then one swing when he gave up a 3-run HR he has given up just three runs (eight starts) and 20 hits in 52 innings...that’s 52 innings folks! He is 2-1 with an 0.81 ERA surrendering just two runs in four appearances covering 22.1 innings. Seattle’s George Kirby (9-9, 3.40) is the victim of a team that has trouble scoring runs and they haven’t been so good in his starts. Right now the Mariners are 2-7 in Kirby’s last nine starts.
