Orange (-) over Hoyas- This will be the 100 meeting between these two as the had battles over the years for the Big East and National Championship. The both won the title as member of the Big East but Syracuse who holds a 54-45 edge has moved to the Atlantic Coast Conference and without Jim Boeheim running the program the Orange have fallen off the charts. Georgetown stayed in the conference but lost John Thompson and it has been down hill ever since. Both of these current clubs struggle offensively but the Hoyas play a better brand of defense.
