Padres over Mets- Two of the weakest hitting teams in the National League coming struggling into this series as the Padres have lost four straight and eight of their last 10 and the Mets have dropped eight of their last nine. San Diego who hasn't won a series in New York in five years are favored on the road and that is a testament of how weak the Mets really are. Andrew Cashner (2-5, 2.13 ERA) is 0-4 in his last six starts despite allowing more then two earned runs just once in that span and he has surrendered two runs or fewer in nine of his 10 starts this season.
