Oakland at Detroit 7:08ET
Tigers over A's- Two division leaders that most likely will meet to determine the American League World Series representatives go at it tonight in Detroit where the Tigers host the Oakland A's. The A's are of a three game sweep of the Marlins in Miami and have won four in-a-row on the road and will be sending rejuvenated Scott Kazmir (9-3, 2.66 ERA) to the hill against former Marlins Anibal Sanchez (5-2, 2.64) who is unbeaten in his last nine starts. The Tigers have won eight of their last 10 overall and Sanchez has allowed just 51 hits in 75 innings with a 0.96 WHIP on the year, Kazmir has just about been his equal allowing only 78 hits in 98 innings with a WHIP of 1.01. Still, at home it's the Tigers. Take DETROIT!
