ND is one of the top offensive teams in the country with their 5 guard rotation. The Virginia Tech Hokies are just 8-9 this season and are not a good rebounding team which is one of the ND weaknesses. The main reason is their offensive output. The Hokies as a team score just 68 points per game. They will be trying to snap a five game losing streak when they face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Fighting have been playing some excellent basketball this season. They are ranked in the top 10 and come into this game sporting a 17-2 record. For the season the Irish are shooting 53 percent from the floor, ranking second in the country. If the Irish are shooting well, they are tough to beat. I don't see where Virginia Tech is going to get the offense from to stay with the Irish. Look for ND to be up big and halftime and pull away with an easy double digit win tonight!
