While the Royals won both games yesterday, the Rays should have the edge on the mound on Thursday afternoon. Morton is off a gem last time out. The 35-year old limited the Red Sox to two hits through six shutout innings. He's now 3-0 with a 2.76 ERA and 1.13 WHIP on the season. Through 32 2/3 innings, he's recorded 39 K's. In three road starts, he's got a dominant 1.72 ERA and he should dominate this KC lineup. I was very unimpressed by Danny Duffy in his season debut. The veteran lefty had diminished velocity and he looked ultra-hittable. Look for TAMPA to bounce back here after getting swept yesterday.
