Chris Paddack gets the call for SD on Sunday. The hard-throwing right-hander has the lowest ERA (1.93) through his first nine starts of any pitcher in Padres history. Marcus Stroman goes for the BJays with his 2.81 ERA.
Stroman heads to the mound and coming off a start in which he allowed one run on five hits over six innings, lowering his ERA to 2.81. He's been a very solid pitcher and usually doesn't get much run support when he is out there.
Also considering the Padres put up 19 runs on 20 hits and 7 HR's on Saturday, they'll be kept off balance today.
