Montana State has been impressive to open the season standing 4-1 overall with their only defeat coming in competitive fashion at ranked Utah State. Montana State has won 4 straight and they're coming into this matchup with a ton of positive momentum. In their last outing Montana State looked strong again on the defensive end as the Bobcats got past Tennessee Tech by a final of 52-39. Harald Frey leads the team averaging 17.2 points per game.

Grand Canyon had some elevated expectations coming into the season, but it's been a rough start for the Antelopes who stand 1-3 overall. Grand Canyon opened the season with a 9 point home loss against a lower division opponent and the Antelopes followed that up with double digit defeats coming against Illinois and San Diego State. In their last outing Grand Canyon picked up their first win getting past Arkansas Pine Bluff by a final of 67-54.

Montana State has been much more impressive than Grand Canyon so far this season and the Bobcats still aren't getting much respect from Vegas. We like Montana State to continue to perform well as the Bobcats go on to cover the spread.
