The Wisconsin Badgers looked a lot better in their Big Ten opener as Wisconsin blitzed past Indiana at home by a final of 84-64. Perhaps this is the result that can spur the Badgers in the right direction as we've seen some very up and down showings from Wisconsin to open the year. Wisconsin now stands 5-4 overall, but they've shown a high ceiling as is evident by their double digit wins over teams like Marquette and Indiana. Rutgers hasn't faced a particularly challenging non-conference slate and the Scarlet Knights currently stand 6-3 overall. Rutgers is coming off back to back road defeats against Pitt and Michigan State by double digits. Rutgers is an athletic team but when they play smart teams that was well coached and can break the pressure, they are in trouble.
