It just seems that the Conference USA is very bad defensively. The conference is 2-4 so far, but its two wins were by its two best teams. The rest of the conference past FAU and Louisiana Tech has been soft all season. Western Michigan is a senior laden squad, and they got blasted in their bowl game against BYU last year.

From all indications, the Broncos are focused on the task at hand – senior QB Jon Wassink missed the bowl game last year due to injury and head coach Tim Lester is looking for the Broncos second ever bowl victory. I expect Western Michigan to get the win here on Monday afternoon.
