(MLB) Philadelphia vs. Cincinnati,
Money Line: -112.00 Cincinnati (Home)
Result: Push
In his big league debut Friday, Vladimir Gutierrez allowed just two hits and one run over five innings -- a fifth-inning solo homer -- for a hard-luck 1-0 loss to the Cubs. He was aggressive in the strike zone, especially with his fastball. Gutierrez earned a second start with his performance and is now filling in for the injured Jeff Hoffman.

Philadelphia has flailed to an 88 team wRC+ this season to rank 24th in baseball, numbers that only get worse with Harper out, as the Phillies strike out the most in the NL and don't have a lot of power to make up for that. They are coming off a 7 HR game last night so expect the Phils to go back to normal this afternoon.

Cincinnati bounces back with a win this afternoon.
