The SMU Mustangs snapped a six-game losing streak in the series with a 30-27 win over the Tigers last season. They haven't won in Memphis since 2013 and Memphis is rested coming into this game.

Memphis Tigers coach Ryan Silverfield said the extra time afforded by the team's bye week should do wonders for Parrish among other players.


The Tigers have committed 12 turnovers the last 5 games so they've been moving the ball but the turnovers have hurt. With extra time to prepare we like Memphis as a nice dog to get the win and cover.
