While Oakland should be a formative team in the Horizon Conference this year and continue off of last year’s success to compete for a conference title, they will be no match for Coach Huggins aggressive, athletic Mountaineer team. Huggins’-led teams rarely let up and this one in particular, given all the new moving parts, will look to make their impact right out of the gates. West Virginia has more talent and that talent, while new, will be looking to impress Coach Huggins to get in his rotation on a regular basis. The home court advantage will play into this game as well and expect the Mountaineers to create a number of turnovers and easy baskets leading to a blowout win.
