This is one of the best defenses that Illinois would have faced and Notre Dame could possibly win this game outright as Texas A&M had to shoot 50% to beat Notre Dame and they were up double-digits in that game. Illinois struggled against Texas Rio Grande one of the worst defenses in the country and Notre Dame nearly beat St. Mary's as well which is a fantastic team. I think Norte Dame's experience at the guard position and the fact they have a solid defense have a great shot to win this one on Monday night!
