The Owls are playing some great defense (allowing just 39% in conference action) as they have won 5 of their last 7 games including upsets at UCF, at Tulsa and vs Cincinnati. We like this spot as they are now coming off a loss to SMU, a game they covered but didn't win. East Carolina is in a brutal scheduling spot having played Cincy twice, Memphis twice, UCF and Houston and their offense has not looked good as the Pirates are shooting 33% their L5 games.
