Missouri St had a first round bye while Valpo took on Evansville. The Crusaders led by 11 points at halftime, winning by 22 and no one played more than 33 minutes. Valpo’s offense has been red hot and I give them an edge tonight they are now familiar with the arena having shot 67% for 2-pt and 48% from 3-pt. Valpo got back Tom Kithier who missed starter 19 games but missed the previous 4 and 8 of the L10 (he played 22 minutes).
