The Hawkeyes shut out the Rutgers Scarlet Knights last week, winning by a score of 22-0. Deacon Hill went 20/31 for 223 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the victory. He should be able to move the ball vs Illinois defense who isn't as tough as Rutgers.


Iowa should be able to take the win and cover the spread at home in this one. Their defense has been stellar these past few games, giving up a total of 25 points in their last four games combined.
Illinois has given up an average of over 150 yards per game to rushers, so if Iowa can run effectively and play defense, and could very well be HC Kirk Ferentz final home game so I expect the players to be motivated.
