The Twins pitching staff has been amongst the best in baseball when it comes to tossing with hitters in scoring position. Meanwhile, the Guardians bats and pitching staff have struggled to start the month of August and we'll back the Twins at home in game 1 of this double-header. Minnesota sits in the top half of the league in defensive pitching and strikeouts and walks and their ability to hit the long ball and extend hits should provide a nice win this afternoon.
