4-unit Play Take #927 Seattle Mariners over Los Angeles Angels (10:05pm EST) The Los Angeles Angels have been playing inspired baseball without superstar Mike Trout. They are 16-14 over their last 30 games despite Trout being out for the majority of them. Most of the credit goes to the pitching staff, which has held their opponents down nicely of late. I don't see that happening today, however, with Ricky Nolasco on the hill. The veteran right-hander is just 3-9 with a 4.86 ERA and a 1.43 WHIP. His big problem has been the long ball, as he's yielded 23 of them in 16 starts. The Mariners have the power to take advantage, and I think they get the victory in Anaheim tonight after winning 10-0 last night.
