Here we have a White Sox team that has gone 'over' in seven straight games going against a Rockies team that has gone 'under' in 9 of 10. Something's gotta give. And I think that something is the two starters. Jose Quintana has been brilliant lately. However, when he gets hit he gets hit hard. In his last 10 starts he's given up three or fewer runs seven times. But those other three games: 20 runs in 11 innings. I think he is going to struggle in Coors today. Teams are catching up to Jeff Hoffman a little bit. His first five starts this year yielded just a 2.03 ERA. His last three? Try 14 runs in his last 18 innings. It's going to be hot in Denver with a little cloud cover and I think the ball is going to be flying tonight.
