The Marlins have lost nine straight games and they send their stopper Sandy Alcantara to the mound. Unfortunately for the Marlins, Alcantara has not been very sharp lately, allowing six runs and three homers to Atlanta in his last start and 13 in his last three starts. He gave up four runs to the Phillies on Aug. 10 in a 4-3 win for Philadelphia. The Phils send Kyle Gibson, who was roughed up in his last start, but before that, had allowed just 10 runs in his previous six starts. One of those starts came against the Marlins. He’s allowed just four runs over his last three starts vs. the Marlins.
