This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the OVER Red Sox/Rays.

Both teams have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, but I'm expecting those trends to end this evening.

The Red Sox have seen the total go UNDER the number in three straight after yesterday's 4-3 series-opening loss here. That setback snapped a five-game win streak. Note though that Boston has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 11 after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.

Tampa Bay has won six of its last seven after yesterday's victory. The Rays have also seen the total go UNDER in three straight.

Rich Hill (6-5, 4.52 ERA) gets the nod for Boston, while Drew Rasmussen (9-4. 2.70) counters for Tampa.

Hill is actually 3-0 with a 2.78 ERA over 14 appearances vs. Tampa, while Rasmussen is 1-0 with a 2.91 ERA over six career appearances against the Red Sox.

I think these guys are in the wrong place at the wrong time today finally though. The overall situation, combined with the trend listed above makes today's O/U line finally a bit TOO low.

Consider the OVER in this one.
