BOOKIEKILLER
(NFL) Denver vs. Seattle,
Point Spread: 7.00 | -115.00 Seattle (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 10* BOOKIEKILLER on the Seattle Seahawks.

Funny how things work out sometimes. Baker Mayfield was pretty confident that he'd go out and beat his former team, the Cleveland Browns yesterday, but he and the Panthers ultimately came up short in their 26-24 setback.

There's a lot of money here on Denver and the Broncos on the road on Monday night, but I love Seattle's chances in this contest as a live dog.

Last year the Broncos finished 7-10. Same for the Seahawks.

The Broncos only averaged 19.7 PPG last year. Clearly they're going to average more with the re-worked offense. Wilson had 25 TD's and just six INT's last year. Denver was good defensively last year, allowing just 18.9 YPG.

Could Seattle make the playoffs? If the Hawks to manage the outright upset tonight, they'll be leading the NFC West at 1-0.

It's a weak division, and crazier things have happened. Both teams have plenty of new faces on both sides of the field.

Is Geno Smith, Russell Wilson? Of course not. Smith was super sharp in the preseason, passing for 702 yards, five TDs and just one INT. The Hawks allowed just 21.5 PPG last year.

The Hawks are in a rebuild year. But Denver will need time to "gel."

Look for Smith and the HAWKS to keep this one close..

Good luck, NP
