As primarily a situational handicapper at heart, this one falls right into my "wheel house."
The Rangers are 2-0. They opened with a 3-1 home win over their hated rival Tampa, and then last night they hammered the Wild by a score of 7-3. No need to overthink this one, as I expect New York to come in fatigued here in the second game of the back-to-back scenario.
Kyle Connor led the Jets with 93 points last year and he's primed for another big season. Connor Hellebuyck 29-27-10 with a 2.97 GAA and a .910 SV%, and he'll play a big role in tonight's victory in my estimation
