Two red hot teams collide here. Both have been good defensively and each has played to several lower-scoring games to open the season, but I expect those trends to end this evening in what I anticipate will turn into a wide-open "shootout."
Portland has seen the total go UNDER the number in two straight, including in its 108-106 upset win here just last night as a 12-point underdog. Note that Phoenix has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 12 in trying to avenge a SU/ATS home loss against an opponent.
I can see where some may think the UNDER would be the more prudent move here in the second game of the back-to-back scenario, but with it being so early in the season, fatigue will not be an issue here.
Expect a much more wide-open game on Saturday and then look for this total to fly OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
