The Spurs need their stars to step up if they have any hope of winning this g. DeRozan and Aldridge combined for only 12 points against the Pelicans in their previous outing. I am not sure they will be able to crank it up against the Laker's defense. The Lakers are coming into this game off a loss to the Trail Blazers, a game in which Davis seemed to be sleepwalking through. I expect Davis to come up big in this one. Los Angeles ranked fourth in fastbreak efficiency so I look for them to get some easy baskets in transition. The Spurs like to keep the pace slow and that will be to their detriment against the Lakers.
