The Cubs will hand the ball to Keegan Thompson for the start. He has posted a 3-2 record with a 2.21 ERA.

Kris Bubic has given up 16 hits and 11 runs in his last 12 innings. I am not sure how many innings Thompson can go and the Cubs traded away a lot of the best relievers at the deadline. The Cubs can't get out of their own way and although Bubic has been bad he is facing a Cubs lineup that doesn't give you a lot of fear.
