This is strictly a value play for me. There will be very few chances this season to get the Yankees at this kind of + money price. It is understandable to make the Tigers a big favorite with reigning Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal on the mound. As good as he was last season, he has struggled out of the gate, going 0-2 with a 5.91 ERA and 1.50 WHIP. Carlos Carrasco hasn’t been much better for the Yankees. He is 1-0 with a 7.36 ERA and 1.64 WHIP. The Yankees have hit Skubal well in the past and I will take a flier at this price.
