Im on the Padres +1.5 in this road matchup vs the Detroit tigers for these reasons:

- I think the Padres can win this game outright, but it’s safer to take them on the + run line because it’s true they have Kyle Hart on the mound and he’s unproven and not completely trustworthy. Kyle Hart is very good at staying out of the danger of Left handed batters and that’s what the best bats for Detroit are. He’s not likely to have a lot of Ks, but he’s not going to give up more than 2 runs, and I believe Kyle will keep the team safe in the 5-6 inning pitched today.

- Reese Olson on the mound for the Tigers and even though his ERA (2 runs) at home is spectacular so far this season, its not sustainable when he’s been hittable at home too (12 hits). Padres are batting .281 vs RHP, have the best batting average in the league, and are the least struck out.
