MACK'S CFB TAILGATE PARTY!
(NCAAF) Sam Houston State vs. BYU,
Point Spread: 20.50 | -110.00 Sam Houston State (Away)
Result: Win
Sam Houston Bearkats make the jump to the FBS and into Conference USA. This team is a really good FCS team as it had 2 very good winning seasons prior to last season, before the coach redshirted half the team, finishing 5-4. This record does not define how good this team really is as they have a lot of talent returning like WR Ife Adeyi, LB Trevor Williams who had 260 career tackles, and Kavian Gaither WAC defensive player of the year. With QB Keegan Shoemaker returning, they did pick up QB Grant Gunnel, former Arizona QB who will start. The Bearkats will have to travel to Provo for their debut and take on a well balanced Cougars team, who despite losing their QB to the NFL, the Barrington brothers, and cornerback Gabe Juedy Lally, were able to replace that talent in the portal. They picked up some top talent in QB Kedon Slovis, RB Aiden Robbins, WR Darius Lassiter and RB Deion Smith to name a few. It’s a tough place to get a win but the Bearkats will want to play spoiler and will bring their A game. This game will be closer than some think, take the points.

Brigham Young are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games. Brigham Young are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games at home. Sam Houston State are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games. The Bearkats are 4-2 ATS as road underdogs since 1992. BYU as a home favorite are 3-6 ATS.
